YVS Form Check Functions script details YVS Form Check Functions is an alternative to JS-based form validation libraries, checking form data on the server-side instead of the client's side.
While this method can be argued against due to a higher usage of server resources for trivial tasks that can easily be done inside a browser, it's a much safer solution since it eliminates the cases where users have their JS turned off.
Data is validated on the server for all users, regardless of their JS browser status.
Included form check functions:
- Checks if field is filled in
- Checks email format
- Checks for allowed symbols
- Compares two fields
A YVS Form Check Functions demo is included with the download package.
Installation:
1. Unpack the YVS Form Check Functions archive.
2. Move/upload to a Web server
3. Access the register.php sample file.
